NINETEEN SPICES SAUCE

 2 Tb. instant onion flakes

1 Tb. brown sugar

1 Tb. powdered mustard, hot

2 Tb. hot paprika (or mixed)

1 tsp. hot chili powder

1 tsp. cracked pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. ground cloves

1 bay leaf

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup catsup

2 Tb. Worcestershire sauce

2-3 drops liquid smoke

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup tarragon vinegar

2 Tb. wine vinegar

 

            Combine.  Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.  Strain, removing bay leaf.

            Serve warm.
