Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie

  • Preheat oven to 400° F.

  • Combine flour and butter in a medium bowl and mix well. Press onto bottom and up side of a 9-inch pie plate.

  • Bake until browned, about 15 minutes. Let stand to cool.

  • Combine the cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

  • Fold whipped topping and vanilla extract into the cream-cheese mixture.

  • Spoon the filling into the pie crust.* Top with strawberries. Chill until serving time.

    *Pie filling can also be used with a graham cracker crust or a more traditional plain pasty..
