FORGOTTEN RIBS

1 teaspoons salt        
teaspoon pepper
4 pounds beef short ribs
2 (8-oz) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Preheat oven (275 F.  to 300 F.)  Place ribs in a covered baking dish.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  
Combine the tomato sauce, molasses and vinegar in a small pan and bring to  a boil.  Pour over the meat, cover and bake for 4 hours in a 275 F. to 300 F. oven (the cooking  time will vary with the quality of the meat).  
Spoon off excess fat.
Mange!

YIELD:  Serves four.
